BACKUPS AGREEMENT

The following shall apply where the Services include or consist of "shared web hosting", "reseller web hosting" and "unlimited domain hosting" services:

The Customer agrees to maintain a current copy of all content hosted by Plutus™ Internet Services Pty (Ltd.) notwithstanding any agreement by Plutus™ Internet Services Pty (Ltd.) to provide back up services as a courtesy and not as an obligation.

Full backups are made daily, weekly, and monthly. No guarantees are made of any kind, either expressed or implied, as to the integrity of these backups. Backups are made for server restoration purposes only. It is the customers' responsibility to maintain local copies of their web content and any information on their account including but not limited to customers web site, email, databases, mailing lists, and archives. If users need help backing up their website they may contact support for help with this.

The Customer should back up data on their account before attempting to make any changes on their account so that they can insure data recoverability.

If loss of data occurs due to an error of Plutus™ Internet Services Pty (Ltd.), we will attempt to recover the data at no charge to the customer. If data loss occurs due to negligence of the customer in securing their account or by an action of the customer, Plutus™ Internet Services Pty (Ltd.) will attempt to recover the data from the most recent archive for a R49.00 fee per restore incident. Under no circumstances is Plutus™ Internet Services Pty (Ltd.) responsible for recovering files or data from the backup due to the customer negligence, damage, loss, or accidental deletion or modifying.

Accounts that are using 20GB or more of disk space may be excluded from our backup system.
